LoftyPops – Popsicles

Each year, in collaboration with the local band Toboggan Man, étude puts on an epic winter rock festival called Sled Season that brings together the Detroit Indie Music scene, highlights local vendors, and shows off artists across many genres.

In alignment with étude’s nonprofit programming, the proceeds of Sled Season (2026) are used to fairly reimburse all artists involved. Sled Season will see an exciting lineup of classes and workshops, an interactive art installation, live performances, local artisanal and food vendors, and, back by popular demand, our themed photoshoot experience by Lady Red Photos. This one-day winter festival is a celebration of art, music, and community.

After two successful runs, we are excited about the chance to bring this event to The Tangent Gallery & Hastings Ballroom in Detroit.
