Saturday, March 16th, 2024 marked the first annual collaboration between étude and Toboggan Man, producing Sledding Season (2024) – soon to be renamed Sled Season in the 2025 season. The epic pairing came together to present a full night of indie and alternative rock, hosted on the historic basement stage of The Congregation.
The night hosted 3 acts; Pia the Band – a Detroit-based indie singer-songwriter –, Lausten Found – a local alternative rock group spearheaded by Jon Martinez –, and finally, Toboggan Man an indie garage rock quartet who spent the evening celebrating their self-titled release of 9 songs on 3 separate EPs all self-produced by the band.

Toboggan Man is an indie garage-rock quartet hailing from the Detroit area. Mixing the classic sounds of surf-rock and that early rock-and-roll sound, the band continues to produce music and collaborate with local artists, known for high-energy live sets.
